Doesn't Piper groom an awful lot for a cat?

QUESTION:

Doesn't Piper groom an awful lot?

ANSWER:

Yes, she does. Usually, she does it in the iron chair and you can watch it from the front or above.

If she has a single hair out of place, she'll go into another grooming session right then and there.

She licks away most of the fur on her belly, and she gets the occasional coughing fit resulting in hairballs now and then.

Piper is a fairly high-strung cat, having been abused as a kitten. She's also quite nervous around the other cats, and does her best to maintain her alpha role despite being half the size of either Frisky or Nardo.

When she can't fight back, she'll either growl and spin at her own tail or engage in displacement grooming.
